Simplicity is not synonymous with ease. Simple at first, The Hare and the Tortoise will increase the difficulty after each level until you have no other choice than to lose.
If you're familiar with the story with similar title you'll know that this is a game in which the fastest runner will win. The game rules are very simple, just make the turtle get to the flowers before the hare does. You play using the turtle all the time and the machine will play with the hare. Be warned that this is not a racing game, instead it's a concentration and reflex enhancement game in which you have to sharpen your eyes and coordination to move the mouse to the location on the screen where flowers show up. As you move the mouse the turtle will also move.
The game is over as soon as the hare gets to the flowers first. At that moment your score will be shown, and if you think it's a score worthy of the site's public high scores table, submit it with your name and let the world know you were there.
Pay attention to the game, because flowers will appear very rapidly and you have to be fast enough to move the mouse pointer to that location before the hare does. The hare is really fast and will not hesitate to move to its target as soon as the flowers show up. Be careful, concentrate and above all don't let the game fool you like the hare was fooled by the tortoise, sounds easy but it is not.
